Hopster operates a global subscription video on demand platform targeted at pre-school children, combining educational content with entertainment.
Hopster has secured a strategic investment round led by Sony Pictures Television Networks. The funding will support the growth of the pre-school subscription video on demand platform as it expands its digital scale and international reach across more than 100 countries.
Launched in December 2013, Hopster combines television shows with learning content for young children and recently expanded onto Apple TV. The partnership provides Sony Pictures Television Networks with an early position in the subscription children's media sector.
