Hops & Scotch provides mobile bar hire and event hospitality services for weddings and private functions across the United Kingdom.

Conwy entrepreneurs Chris and Anna Naylor have secured a £36k micro loan from the Development Bank of Wales to acquire mobile bar business Hops & Scotch. The funding allowed the couple to purchase the brand, goodwill, and physical assets, including a converted horse box and two wooden wooden bars, enabling them to offer private bar hire for weddings and events across the UK.

With bookings rolling in for 2021 following postponements in 2020, the founders are preparing for their inaugural year of trading. The acquisition represents a long-held ambition for the couple to run their own hospitality enterprise.
