LinkedIn joins as a strategic investor and partner in an oversubscribed secondary round following earlier Series C funding.
Hopin provides a shared experiences platform that lets organisations host virtual, hybrid and in-person events. The remote-first company operates globally from its London headquarters.
Hopin has secured a Series C follow on investment from LinkedIn as part of an oversubscribed secondary round. The capital follows a $400m Series C raise announced earlier in the year, which was co-led by Andreessen Horowitz and General Catalyst alongside IVP, with participation from several returning backers. The company intends to direct the funds towards accelerating growth, scaling its multi-product business, and advancing its video and mobile platform technologies.
The business has expanded significantly since early 2020, growing its headcount and scaling its user base to serve tens of thousands of organisations. Alongside organic growth, Hopin has pursued a series of acquisitions including StreamYard, Topi, Streamable, and jamm to build out its suite of video tools and streaming capabilities.

LinkedIn is more than just an investor, we are closely collaborating to help LinkedIn members and Hopin users engage with more people and discover immersive experiences. We can’t wait to share more soon as Hopin continues to transform the way we all connect."
