Hopin raises $125m in Series B funding led by IVP and Tiger Global to scale its virtual events platform
The Series B round was led by IVP and Tiger Global with participation from Coatue, DFJ Growth, Accel, Northzone, Salesforce Ventures, and Seedcamp.
Hopin provides a shared experiences platform that lets organisations host virtual, hybrid and in-person events. The remote-first company operates globally from its London headquarters.
London-based virtual events provider Hopin has secured $125m in Series B funding led by existing backer IVP and new investor Tiger Global. The round also drew participation from Coatue, DFJ Growth, and returning investors Accel, Northzone, Salesforce Ventures, and Seedcamp.
The capital injection follows a period of hypergrowth for the business, which scaled its user base from 5,000 to 3.5 million in eight months. Hopin will deploy the fresh funds to scale its platform, expand its workforce, and meet growing international demand.
