HolidayFox secures £1.2m in pre-seed funding from Fuel Ventures to expand its camping marketplace
Fuel Ventures led the pre-seed round, which will fund team expansion and product development.
HolidayFox operates a digital booking platform designed to connect campers with campsites across the UK and Europe. The service allows users to filter locations by specific amenities and activities.
HolidayFox has secured £1.2m in pre-seed funding to support its expansion across the UK and major European markets. The investment round was led by Fuel Ventures, with participation from Michael and Xochi Birch, Redbus, the Atomico Angel Fund, D Global Ventures, Shaan Puri, Cathexis Ventures, and several angel investors from companies including Monzo, Deliveroo, and Blockfi.
The company plans to allocate the capital towards scaling its engineering and operations teams as well as continuing product development. This fresh financing follows renewed public interest in domestic camping and outdoor holidays.
Co-founders Richard and Jason previously operated a London web agency before spending a decade building large-scale European tech marketplaces. They established HolidayFox to address inefficiencies in finding and booking rural accommodations.
