Hero has secured £8.3m in Series A funding to expand its digital retail platform and accelerate product innovation. The investment was led by San Francisco-based S28 Capital, with additional backing from Vectr Ventures and DIP Capital, alongside several strategic retail and technology investors. The capital will be directed towards creating new technological innovations that help physical stores transition into digitally enabled retail spaces. Existing backers, including industry veterans and strategic figures, also contributed to the ongoing development of the company.
