Hero provides a software platform that connects in-store retail associates with online shoppers through chat and livestreaming. The company operates across numerous countries to help traditional brick-and-mortar stores drive digital sales.

Leeds-based digital wellbeing platform Hero has secured £1.3m in funding to support its overseas expansion and product development initiatives.

Founded in April 2018, the company has expanded its operations through recent acquisitions including Colour-Fit and UK Wellbeing Coach. The business currently works with more than 100 clients across the UK, including the NHS and HSBC.

The fresh capital will be directed towards international markets and growing the internal team to roll out further wellbeing services.
