Heliocor raises £1.9m in scale up funding via tokenised preference shares.
The regulatory technology company secured the capital from high net worth investors using a digital security process.
Heliocor is a regulatory technology company that builds digital identity fraud prevention and compliance tools for financial institutions. Its core software suites include the data analytics engine Robolitics and the onboarding application Dokstor.
Regulatory technology firm Heliocor has secured £1.9m in scale up funding through tokenised preference shares issued to high net worth individuals. The transaction represents the first time this specific digital security model has been used for corporate fundraising in the UK, offering participants a 20 per cent share in future profits after tax represented by blockchain tokens.
The capital will be directed towards advancing core technologies at the company centre in Barcelona, developing the Dokstor consumer brand, and driving international sales for the Robolitics data analytics platform. Portions of the raise were completed via the Globacap platform alongside private placements.
