Midven and angel investors back Health2Works with £251k to scale its NHS-aligned software tools.
Share allotment filed at Companies House
Health2Works develops digital platforms and applications designed to support patients, families, and carers in managing healthcare needs. The company works closely with NHS clinicians to create practical tools for clinical care and self-management.
Health2Works has secured £251k in funding from Midven and a group of angel investors to scale its digital healthcare products. The investment comprises £151k from Midven through its Exceed and Early Advantage funds, alongside £100k from angel backers.
The Staffordshire-based software firm plans to use the capital to expand the market reach of its core applications, including the family care coordination app Rally Round and the pediatric speech therapy tool Ollie. The company has a portfolio of 15 products developed in collaboration with NHS clinicians.
Leadership noted that the funding will support the transition of its tools into fully commercialised offerings for healthcare providers nationwide, addressing growing financial pressures within the health service.
From the founder
"There is huge pressure on the NHS to save money and one of the ways it will do that is through technology innovation. After working with a number of NHS trusts, we already know of the benefits that apps and tools like Rally Round and Ollie bring in terms of empowering patients and increasing productivity. The funding we have received from Midven and our angel investors will enable us to progress to fully-commercialised, universal tools that will help NHS health care providers across the country."
