Health & Her secures a six-figure follow-on investment to expand into mainstream retail
The funding round was backed by the Development Bank of Wales, an angel syndicate, and the Wales Angel Co-investment Fund.
Health & Her operates a holistic platform providing expert advice, symptom tracking, and products designed to support women through the menopause.
Cardiff-based Health & Her has secured a six-figure follow-on investment from the Development Bank of Wales and a syndicate of angel investors, alongside matched funding from the Wales Angel Co-investment Fund. The capital will be deployed to drive product development and support the company's expansion into mainstream retail channels. Founded in 2017, the digital health platform has experienced rapid growth over the previous year.
The fresh injection of funds is expected to create up to 18 new jobs, while also benefiting local supply chain partners in Port Talbot and Conwy. The latest transaction represents a follow-on commitment from the Development Bank, which previously backed the firm with an initial equity investment in 2019.
