Health and Care Innovations raises £880k to expand its digital health platform

The funding round was led by The FSE Group and included participation from the South West Investment Fund.

£880K

Health and Care Innovations provides a digital health platform and video library designed to help patients manage multiple health conditions at home.

Health and Care Innovations has closed an £880k funding round led by The FSE Group. The financing includes a £375k equity investment from the British Business Bank through the South West Investment Fund, alongside backing from healthcare investors. The capital will support the expansion of the company platform into further health conditions and wider markets.

The raise surpassed an initial target of £750k. The company currently collaborates with over 10 percent of NHS acute trusts as well as integrated care boards in Ireland and Spain, aiming to decrease demands on healthcare systems through home-based patient education and monitoring tools.

From the founder

"We see too many people who are undergoing treatment or suffering from conditions, who don't understand what's going on, which increases their anxiety. It also increases the demands they make on their health systems and services around them. It's not fair, and it's not necessary."
