Harvst secures funding round led by SFC Capital

Welsh green technology startup Harvst doubles its fundraising target with backing from SFC Capital and angel investors.

Welsh green technology startup Harvst builds automated mini greenhouses and watering systems to help people grow their own food.

Cardigan-based green technology startup Harvst has secured a funding round led by SFC Capital, alongside participation from angel investors. The company doubled its original fundraising target following strong backing from investors.

Harvst manufactures automated mini greenhouses and smart watering systems designed to help domestic growers cultivate food throughout the year. The fresh capital will be directed towards expanding the team, building commercial partnerships, and scaling marketing efforts to reach a broader customer base.

The investment provides the firm with increased financial security to develop new products and extend its market reach during a challenging economic climate.

From the founder

"We’d like Harvst to be instrumental in helping everyone grow more of their own food. Reducing food miles, food waste, plastic packaging, and developing the essential skills for growing your own food is incredibly important, particularly as we all transition to a more sustainable way of living."
