Halo.rent provides a tenant engagement platform that streamlines the home rental onboarding process for agents and managers. The company connects disparate service providers into a single digital ecosystem.

Halo.rent has secured £1.3m in a pre-seed funding round to support its tenant engagement platform. The capital was provided by angel investors and the European Commission. The platform, which has undergone field testing with property managers, aims to simplify the rental onboarding process and automate communications for agents and tenants.

The company has spent the past six months testing its technology with smaller letting agents and larger operators such as FirstPort and High Street Group. The freshly secured funds will assist the proptech startup as it opens its platform to the wider public.
