Hack The Box secures £7.7m Series A funding led by Paladin Capital Group to fuel US expansion.

Paladin Capital Group led the Series A round with participation from Osage University Partners, Brighteye Ventures, and Marathon Venture Capital.

Hack The Box provides a gamified cybersecurity training and talent assessment platform used by enterprises and government institutions globally. The company combines realistic hacking simulations with community engagement to improve security readiness.

Hack The Box has secured £7.7m in a Series A funding round led by Paladin Capital Group. The capital was also backed by Osage University Partners, Brighteye Ventures, and existing investor Marathon Venture Capital. The company will use the proceeds to support its expansion into the US market and further develop its product portfolio for both individual learners and corporate clients.

Founded in 2017, the company hosts an extensive ethical hacking community with over 500,000 members. Users train by tackling virtual vulnerable labs in a simulated environment to build adversarial security skills. The new funding arrives as Hack The Box experiences rapid growth, marked by significant annual recurring revenue increases and widespread platform adoption across global enterprises and academic institutions.
