Hack The Box raises $55m in Series B funding led by Carlyle to expand cybersecurity training platform

Carlyle led the Series B financing round to support international growth and product development.

Hack The Box provides a gamified cybersecurity training and talent assessment platform used by enterprises and government institutions globally. The company combines realistic hacking simulations with community engagement to improve security readiness.

Hack The Box has secured $55m in Series B funding led by Carlyle, with participation from Paladin Capital Group, Osage University Partners, Marathon Venture Capital, Brighteye Ventures, and Endeavor Catalyst Fund. The capital will be deployed to expand the company product roadmap, scale research and development efforts, and enhance go-to-market operations internationally.

The platform has experienced rapid growth over recent years, growing its community to more than 1.7 million registered members. This financing brings the total capital raised by the business to $70m as it addresses critical cybersecurity skills shortages through interactive gameplay and realistic threat scenarios.
