Griffin secures £19m Series A follow-on investment led by MassMutual Ventures, NordicNinja, and Breega to support its official bank launch.
The funding follows regulatory approval for the Banking as a Service platform to exit mobilisation.
Griffin is a full-stack Banking as a Service platform that provides automated compliance technology and integrated ledgers for technology-driven firms. It operates as an API-first UK bank following regulatory approval to exit mobilisation.
Griffin has secured £19m in a Series A follow-on funding round led jointly by MassMutual Ventures, NordicNinja, and Breega. Existing backers Notion Capital and EQT Ventures also participated in the raise. The fresh capital follows the company obtaining regulatory approval from the Prudential Regulation Authority and Financial Conduct Authority to exit mobilisation and launch as a fully operational bank.
The London-based platform offers automated compliance technology and integrated ledgers to help firms embed financial services into their customer offerings. Alongside its banking launch, Griffin has emphasised its commitment to sustainability as a member of Tech Zero, supported by the environmental focus of its co-lead investors.
