Green Park Pharma has secured £2.2m in a pre-series round featuring backing from the South West Investment Fund via appointed fund manager The FSE Group. The company develops patented liquid alternatives to standard tablets, addressing administration difficulties for patients who struggle with swallowing pills.
The fresh capital will be directed towards expanding the firm's operations and team, supporting ten new appointments over the coming three years. This expansion is designed to bolster the business's operational capacity and international reach.
The financing also includes options for an additional £4.5m in subsequent funding rounds to support future growth.
