Recipe box delivery company Gousto has secured £5m in a Series A funding round led by Unilever Ventures, with participation from existing backer MMC. The fresh capital will enable the business to scale up its investment in product development and innovation to enhance the customer experience.
The transaction brings additional expertise to the company board, welcoming Jan Harley of Unilever Ventures as a director. Harley joins existing board members including Jon Coker from MMC, Ian West, and Mark Evans, who participates as an individual investor.
