Golf Guru has secured £250k in a pre-seed funding round backed by private UK and European investors alongside the Capital Pilot Boost Fund. The oversubscribed round will finance the development of audio content serialisation, biometric and neurofeedback integrations, and the expansion of mindfulness content into additional sports.
Launched in August 2021, the company offers a mobile app featuring hours of meditation content led by top coaches. The business reports that users have achieved notable handicap reductions within their first months on the platform, positioning itself at the intersection of sports performance and mental wellbeing.
The capital will also support preparations for a subsequent seed round anticipated in spring 2023, alongside securing endorsements from major athletes.
