SFC Capital has provided pre-seed backing to help GitLive launch the full commercial version of its developer collaboration platform.
GitLive builds a developer collaboration tool that integrates directly into integrated development environments to streamline communication. The platform enables real-time code sharing and conflict detection to improve remote and office workflow productivity.
GitLive has secured £353k in pre-seed funding from SFC Capital to launch the full commercial version of its developer collaboration platform. The capital will support the rollout of the plugin, which embeds communication and live code editing directly inside integrated development environments to assist remote and distributed engineering teams.
The investment draws on SFC Capital's SEIS fund, regional fund, and angel network. GitLive plans to use the fresh injection of capital to scale its product offering from current beta status to a full commercial release, targeting widespread adoption among software teams before later moving into enterprise cloud solutions.
