Gigged raises £600k in pre-seed funding led by Techstart Ventures to scale its talent platform.
The pre-seed round was led by Techstart Ventures with participation from a group of angel investors.
Gigged operates an artificial intelligence driven talent platform designed to streamline how organisations source and onboard freelance technology professionals. The business aims to reduce geographical bias and accelerate project delivery within the gig economy.
Gigged has secured £600k in pre-seed funding to expand its operations and scale its presence in the global talent marketplace. The investment was led by Techstart Ventures, alongside participation from several high profile angel investors who will constitute a new advisory board.
The capital will primarily be allocated towards doubling the workforce from seven to 14 employees, specifically strengthening sales and customer success capabilities. Additional funds will support ongoing product development as the company targets expansion within the international talent platform sector.
