Generative Engineering, a software company based in London, has raised €4m in pre-seed funding to advance its parallel engineering platform. The round was led by EQT Ventures, with additional participation from Join Capital.
The capital will be directed towards further developing the company platform, which allows engineers to model, generate, and test thousands of designs simultaneously. This approach aims to reduce the time required to bring complex physical products to market across sectors such as energy and mobility.
The founders, drawing on their backgrounds at a major electric vehicle manufacturer as well as institutions like MIT and Google, established the firm to address inefficiencies in traditional product development cycles.
