Gather secures new funding from construction industry figures to expand its site record platform.
The Manchester startup has attracted backing from sector specialists including Nick Mansell and Ben Walker.
Gather provides digital record management software for infrastructure and construction projects. Its platform replaces paper site diaries to streamline reporting and generate real-time operational insights.
Gather, a Manchester-based startup providing site record solutions for the construction industry, has secured a new investment round from a group of sector practitioners. Backers in the raise include Nick Mansell, Ben Walker, and Daniel Walker, adding to existing support from figures such as Steve Secker and Dave Price.
The capital arrives as major infrastructure contractors explore broader deployment of the company platform across various UK regions and sectors. Gather has recently partnered with Amey Rail for Control Period 7 in the North West and Central region, while firms such as Costain and Dyer and Butler evaluate wider rollouts.
The company develops a digital record management system designed to eliminate paper site diaries and improve information sharing between site teams and project offices. The software has previously been adopted by asset owners like Transport for London and Network Rail, alongside major contractors including Murphy Group, Babcock, and NG Bailey.

Investor perspective
"Using better ways to capture and share site information will make a big difference in how well we deliver projects. When every stakeholder has access to accurate, real-time site records, it becomes much easier to spot and fix problems. It’s vital that we give our site teams the tools they need to do this. To make this happen, the connection between site and office teams must be strong and seamless."
