Fuse Energy secures $10m from Lowercarbon Capital and Balderton Capital to fund international expansion and product development.

The follow-on investment was led by Lowercarbon Capital and Balderton Capital to support international growth and technology development.

Fuse Energy operates a vertically integrated utility model spanning renewable generation assets, direct supply, and digital applications. The firm provides electricity and domestic gas to thousands of households via mobile and web platforms.

Fuse Energy has secured $10m in a follow-on funding round led by Lowercarbon Capital and Balderton Capital. The capital will support the company as it expands its operations into international markets including Ireland, Europe, and the United States, alongside boosting product development and research initiatives.

The latest injection of funds follows rapid commercial growth, with the supplier reaching $90m in annualised revenue and serving 50,000 homes across the UK. Alongside the investment, Fuse is launching a domestic gas product to complement its existing electricity supply, aiming to provide an integrated energy service for consumers.
