Fox Robotics secures £750k to advance agricultural robotics.
Anglia Capital Group participated in the £750k round to support the agricultural robotics developer.
Fox Robotics builds autonomous mobile robots designed to navigate agricultural terrain and automate logistics tasks in sectors such as soft fruit farming.
Fox Robotics has secured £750k in funding to help complete its latest investment round, with backing from Anglia Capital Group and other investors. The company will use the capital to support its ongoing development of autonomous mobile robots tailored for the agricultural sector.
Originally focused on warehouse logistics, the business shifted its attention to farming and soft fruit production after identifying heavy reliance on manual labour in the industry. Its robots automate the transport of harvested produce and collect real-time operational data to replace paper records.
The investment marks Anglia Capital Group's eighth regional backing of 2021 as part of its strategy to support local businesses across East Anglia.
