FourJaw Manufacturing Analytics secures £1.8m from Mercia and private backers to enhance its platform

FourJaw provides machine monitoring software that helps manufacturers track utilisation, reduce energy consumption and improve productivity. Its platform installs quickly and serves clients across sectors from aerospace to food production.

Sheffield-based FourJaw has secured £1.8m in funding from NPIF - Mercia Equity Finance, Mercia EIS funds and private investors. The capital will be directed towards enhancing the company machine monitoring platform, expanding its customer base, and accelerating product development while creating seven new roles.

The business operates an IoT platform that functions as a fitness tracker for industrial machinery, collecting usage data to help factory floors eliminate inefficiencies. Founded in 2020 by former University of Sheffield researchers, FourJaw now serves over 120 manufacturers worldwide and employs 20 staff.
