Esports organisation Fnatic has secured £14.5m in Series A funding to support its ongoing global expansion. The capital will enable the business to scale its operations across North America and Asia while bolstering its presence in major competitive leagues. In addition, the funds will be directed towards launching new audio lines and product categories for its gaming peripherals brand.
The investment round was led by LVL1 Group, headed by tech entrepreneur Lev Leviev, who joins the company board. Additional backing came from Beringea, BlackPine, Unbound, Raptor Group and Joi Ito.
