Flylogix operates long-range unmanned aerial vehicles to measure and monitor methane emissions for the energy sector.

Flylogix has secured £6m in a financing round led by Amati Global Investors, with additional participation from energy major BP. The company applies specialist drone technology to measure methane emissions in offshore environments, helping operators reduce environmental impact and operational costs. The fresh capital will enable the business to scale its operations into international markets including the US, Norway, and Trinidad and Tobago, alongside expanding into renewable energy applications such as wind turbine inspections.

"We are investing in companies that can help us with our Net Zero ambition and aims. And Flylogix has been instrumental in how we undertake measurements of methane emissions in the North Sea. Accurate emissions measurements are the basis upon which mitigation plans are based – we look forward to continuing our partnership with Flylogix as it expands into new regions."
