£2.5MSeries A

Filtered Technologies builds AI-driven software for corporate learning and development. Its recommendation engine curates internal and external training materials for enterprise clients.

Filtered Technologies has secured £2.5m in a Series A funding round led by Maven. The capital will be deployed to accelerate technological innovation and expand the company sales team.

The firm has built magpie, an intelligent recommendation engine designed to curate and deliver personalised learning resources to employees. The platform integrates internal training materials with external content to combat information overload.

Clients include major global brands such as Procter & Gamble, Sainsbury's, Siemens and EDF. The investment positions the business to capture further share in the expanding corporate e-learning market.

From the founder

"Corporates have grown tired of yet more platforms and content. They don't need more of these. What they need is to make better use of what they have through expert curation, algorithmic recommendations and intelligently placing this where employees are, in the flow of work. This investment signals a shift in Learning and Development towards consumer-grade technologies and experiences and enables Filtered to lead that charge. And Maven are the ideal investors for us: smart, straightforward and interested in making the future of work a better, happier one."
