Fidel API secures £49.7m in Series B funding led by Bain Capital Ventures to expand product offerings and grow its team

Fidel API has raised $65m in Series B funding, equivalent to £49.7m. The round was led by Bain Capital Ventures, with participation from NYCA Partners and QED Investors. The capital will be used to expand the workforce and develop new product capabilities.
The company provides infrastructure that allows developers to link payment cards to services and applications, enabling real-time programmable experiences at the point of purchase. Its technology is utilised by organisations ranging from early stage ventures to global enterprises.
This latest investment brings the firm total funding to $88m since inception. The company plans to increase its headcount significantly across engineering, sales and product roles.
