Fertility Focus secures £250k from The FSE Group to support staff and research
The Warwickshire medical technology manufacturer has raised £250k in debt financing through the Midlands Engine Investment Fund.
Fertility Focus manufactures fertility monitoring products designed to assist women experiencing difficulties conceiving. The company produces the OvuSense platform and OvuSense Pro clinical portal.
Warwickshire-based medical technology business Fertility Focus has secured £250k in debt funding from The FSE Group. The financing, delivered through the Midlands Engine Investment Fund and backed by the Coronavirus Business Interruption Loan Scheme, will support staff retention, research and development, and business resilience during the pandemic.
Established in 2005, the company develops fertility monitoring tools, including the OvuSense platform and the OvuSense Pro portal. The new capital provides essential support to maintain operations and continue product development as healthcare access shifts during ongoing public health restrictions.

"Health statistics tell us around 12 million women in North America and Europe start out trying to conceive each year. Of these, 4 million end up trying to conceive for 6 months or more, with a further 2 million moving on each year into the clinical segment. Securing additional funding is a significant step towards continuing to support women and their partners through a highly emotional journey.
