Fanbase develops software that delivers mobile ticketing and better fan experiences for sports clubs. The platform helps sports organisations manage sales, data, and communications.

Fanbase has secured £1m in new funding led by SaltPay. The investment will support the company as it expands its operations and marketing efforts in North America and scales its team.

The Edinburgh based startup provides a digital platform for sports clubs to handle mobile ticketing, subscriptions, and fan communications. Its technology is currently used by various teams across football, rugby, netball, ice hockey, and handball, alongside recent international expansion into the United States.

Previously securing pre-seed backing in 2021, the company has grown its headcount to ten employees. In addition, Fanbase recently became the first UK sports tech startup to be accepted onto Microsoft's startup accelerator programme.
