EventsCase raises £3.5m in Series A funding led by Haibun Partners to expand its virtual event technology.
The Series A round was led by Haibun Partners with backing from Neil MacDougall to accelerate growth in virtual and hybrid event solutions.
EventsCase provides an all-in-one event management platform that helps organisers build websites, handle registrations, and run virtual, hybrid, and physical gatherings. The firm supports clients globally through technology hubs and offices spanning Europe, the US, and the Middle East.
EventsCase has secured £3.5m in a Series A funding round led by Haibun Partners, with participation from Neil MacDougall. The capital will support the company as it scales its virtual and hybrid event technology across Europe, following a successful pivot during the pandemic.
Founded in 2012, the platform experienced a sharp drop in physical event revenue early in 2020 before introducing live streaming, on-demand hosting, and video networking features. The fresh funds will be directed towards expanding the team and advancing its product capabilities to meet rising demand.
Management intends to use the investment to cement its position as a leading event technology provider on the continent. The company currently engages large numbers of digital attendees monthly and targets further growth in user capacity.
From the founder
"From seeing 75% of our sales vanish in the 10 weeks leading up to April, it’s amazing to think that we’re now in a better position than we were pre-COVID."
