Essentia Analytics provides behavioural data analytics and consulting services for professional investors. The firm combines automated nudges with coaching to help fund managers improve their decision-making.
Essentia Analytics has secured £2.5m in funding from Calculus Capital to support its continued expansion. The investment will enable the fintech firm to further develop its analytics services and scale its client base among global investment management institutions.
The company uses machine learning to analyse past trading decisions and identify behavioural patterns that influence investment performance. This technology is paired with regular consulting sessions and automated notifications to help fund managers enhance their returns.
Calculus Capital led the round as part of its focus on established private companies. Alexandra Lindsay of Calculus Capital has joined the board of directors following the transaction.
