eoSemi secures £2m Series A funding from Capital-E to commercialise its oscillator technology
The round was led by Capital-E to facilitate product delivery and commercialisation.
eoSemi develops precision digitally controlled silicon solutions designed to deliver high performance thermal compensated crystal oscillators. The firm replaces mature analog circuitry with a modern pure CMOS process.
eoSemi has secured £2m in a Series A financing round led by Capital-E, alongside participation from existing investors. The capital will support the delivery of fully tested temperature compensated crystal oscillators to lead customers and accelerate the transition towards advanced digital alternatives.
Traditional oscillator products rely on mature analog circuitry and complex manufacturing processes that tend to be bulky and power-intensive. By contrast, eoSemi utilises a 65nm pure CMOS process to deliver more compact and accurate digital components at a lower cost.
