eola secures £92k in pre-seed funding from Techstars
The company has also joined the 2020 Techstars accelerator programme.
eola provides an operating system that automates bookings, payments, and scheduling for experience and activity providers. The platform helps businesses manage operations and increase revenue.
eola has secured £92k in pre-seed funding from Techstars alongside joining the 2020 accelerator programme. The company was selected from a global applicant pool to participate in the thirteen-week initiative.
Participation in the programme will allow eola to expand its support for experience providers across the UK and internationally as the sector manages high booking volumes following recent lockdowns. The funding and mentorship will assist the firm in scaling its management solutions.
CEO Callum Hemsley noted that the accelerator marks a key development stage for the business as it experiences continued growth.

Investor perspective
"The calibre and number of founders I met during the interview process was extraordinarily high. So many amazing companies from around the world applied this year who showed the qualities that embody phenomenal entrepreneurs — people who see the potential, but understand the problems. That was particularly apparent in my conversations with Callum, Dan and eola team over the last few weeks and months. They’ve built a product that makes life easier and better for their customers – and the feedback from those users was overwhelmingly positive. I’m delighted that we’ll be able to connect them to our network and support them as they grow and scale in the UK and around the world over the coming months and years."
