Enhanc3D Genomics is a functional genomics company that unlocks the potential of the human three-dimensional genome to transform therapeutic development. Its proprietary platform maps DNA interactions to identify novel disease biomarkers and treatment targets.
Enhanc3D Genomics has secured £10m in a Series A financing round led jointly by BGF and Parkwalk Advisors. The capital injection also saw participation from Bioqube Ventures alongside existing private investors.
The proceeds will be directed towards expanding the company team, relocating to larger premises at Cambridge, and accelerating the development of its proprietary functional genomics platform. The funding enables the business to generate extensive datasets focused on immune-related disorders, cancer, and age-related conditions.
The firm builds on roots originating from the Babraham Institute, aiming to decode complex genetic variations and improve patient stratification through high-resolution spatial mapping of DNA.
