Electric Sheep is a London based artificial intelligence startup developing automated visual effects tools for film and television production.
London based visual effects technology startup Electric Sheep has secured £390k in a pre_seed funding round. The investment was led by Dasein Capital, with participation from Spatial Capital and Look AI Ventures. The company intends to direct the capital toward the ongoing development of its cloud native rotoscoping platform, Spotlight.
The funding addresses a persistent bottleneck in film and television post-production, where manual background isolation remains a labour intensive and costly requirement. Electric Sheep aims to accelerate these workflows through automation while maintaining the precision demanded by Hollywood productions.
