EkkoSense provides advanced software and sensing technologies to help data centre operators monitor and optimise real-time performance. The Nottingham based company uses analytics to reduce thermal risk and cut energy consumption.

EkkoSense has secured a seven-figure debt investment from the Midlands Engine Investment Fund, managed by Maven Capital Partners. The funding will support the company as it embarks on an international expansion push across North America, Europe, Asia Pacific, Latin America and Africa.

To facilitate this growth phase, EkkoSense plans to expand its headcount across its sales, development and operational departments. The business previously received backing from the Midlands Engine Investment Fund equity vehicle managed by Foresight Group.
