Egregious secures £820k pre-seed funding from Fuel Ventures and Oxford Capital to scale its artificial intelligence defence platform

Egregious develops advanced technologies designed to protect organisations and individuals from artificial intelligence misuse and disinformation. The platform provides solutions spanning national security, finance, marketing, cybersecurity, and insurance.
Egregious, a London-based developer of artificial intelligence defence technologies, has secured £820k in pre-seed funding. The investment was co-led by venture capital firms Fuel Ventures and Oxford Capital, alongside a network of strategic backers. The capital will be deployed to advance product development and scale the firm's analysis platform.
The fresh funding arrives as disinformation and artificial intelligence misuse rank among prominent global risks. Egregious targets applications across national security, finance, corporate defence, and marketing to counter automated deception and manipulation.
