Educate Online operates a platform connecting international students with primary and secondary schools in the UK, US, and Canada. The company enables children to study remotely while offering academic counselling and extracurricular programmes.
Educate Online has secured $4m in a funding round backed by Xploration Capital, TMT Investments, Flyer One Ventures, Softline, and Angelsdeck. The company intends to direct the capital towards expanding its international footprint across Latin America, Asia, and the Middle East. Additional funds will support product development and the growth of its student community.
Founded in 2018, the Lewes-based startup provides remote access to more than 450 subjects from international schools. The platform aims to remove the geographical barriers and relocation costs traditionally associated with studying abroad, while offering university preparation and internship placements.
