Eagle Genomics has secured £1m in a new funding round backed by London Business Angels and other investors, including the LBA EIS Roundtable Syndicate Fund 2016. The Cambridge-based bioinformatics specialist develops software that helps pharmaceutical, biotech, and personal care companies accelerate product development and reduce research costs for clients such as Unilever.
The capital from this growth round will be directed towards expanding the firm's marketing efforts and enhancing its product development capabilities. Existing and new angel investors participated in the raise, positioning the company to scale its operations further.
