Edinburgh based agricultural technology firm Dyneval has secured over £500k in new funding to accelerate the production of its portable semen analysis instrument. The investment round was backed by Kelvin Capital, Scottish Enterprise, Gabriel Investments, and Par Equity, along with support from Thorntons.
The capital will be directed towards ramping up manufacturing of the Dynescan Semen Analyser, a portable device designed to give farmers and veterinarians reliable quality control metrics for semen assessment. By providing measurements of sustained motility lifetime, the technology helps agricultural operators optimise breeding plans and improve conception rates.
