DrDoctor raises £3m in Series A funding from Ananda Impact Ventures and 24Haymarket to scale its digital healthcare platform.

Ananda Impact Ventures and 24Haymarket led the Series A round to support product expansion and team growth.
DrDoctor provides digital care solutions that link patients and clinicians to improve appointment management across the NHS. The platform helps healthcare providers increase efficiency and reduce backlogs through online booking and waitlist tools.
London health tech firm DrDoctor has secured £3m in a Series A funding round backed by venture capital firms Ananda Impact Ventures and 24Haymarket. The capital will be deployed to expand development and sales teams, increase market reach across the United Kingdom, and enhance product capabilities.
Founded in 2012, the business has grown largely through organic revenue before taking this outside investment. The fresh funds arrive as hospitals across the country work to clear care backlogs caused by the coronavirus pandemic using remote assessments and video consultations.
From the founder
"The team at DrDoctor have never been busier as we work to help our NHS Trusts break the backlog in care that has been created by the havoc of Covid-19. Having the backing of Ananda Impact Ventures and 24Haymarket will help us meet the tremendous demand that now exists for our services as care and patient communication goes digital. We are delighted to have their support."
