Distributed secures £5m Series A funding led by Guinness Asset Management to scale its elastic software teams platform.
The Series A round was led by Guinness Asset Management and will support the company's enterprise growth and product development.
Distributed provides on-demand software engineering teams to help large organisations build and maintain technology products. The company combines freelance talent networks with dedicated project managers to deliver managed development work.
London-based software talent startup Distributed has secured £5m in a Series A funding round led by Guinness Asset Management. The raise also included participation from existing seed investor Fuel Ventures alongside high-profile backers Filippo Sarti and Andreas Mihalovits, bringing the company's total funding past £9m.
The capital will be used to support rapid enterprise growth, expand platform features, and develop the product roadmap as demand for flexible freelance work increases. Distributed previously raised a £4.1m seed round in 2020 and has experienced significant expansion following a major partnership with Capita plc.
