Exeter-based analytics platform Distil.ai has secured £350k in equity funding from the South West Investment Fund, delivered through appointed manager The FSE Group. The capital forms part of a wider £1m funding push that also drew backing from Waterspring Ventures.
The company uses artificial intelligence to turn fragmented data into operational insights for hospitality clients such as Hawksmoor and Gordon Ramsay Restaurants. Distil integrates directly with platforms like OpenTable to automate manual processes and provide customer intelligence.
The fresh capital will be directed towards team expansion and platform upgrades, including multi-language capabilities. Management intends to use the injection to scale operations ahead of a planned Series A funding round.
