DigiDoe secures £852k in pre-seed funding led by Joint Journey to expand its payment platform
Joint Journey led the pre-seed round, with backing from PLF and individual investors, to fund product development and international growth.
Share allotment filed at Companies House
DigiDoe provides a next generation multi-currency payments system that relies on biometric authentication. The company enables merchants to accept payments without the need for physical cards or mobile phones.
DigiDoe has secured £852.5k in a pre-seed funding round led by Joint Journey. The financing also drew participation from PLF, which is managed by Flashpoint Venture Capital and I2BF Global Ventures, alongside several individual backers. The company closed its initial round ahead of schedule following strong customer interest in its fraud-inhibiting payment technology.
The newly acquired capital will be directed towards product development, team expansion, and international growth into Europe and the United States. DigiDoe offers a multi-currency payments system designed to reduce transaction fees, eliminate card or phone requirements through biometric verification, and prevent fraud in commercial transactions.
