Detected provides modular business onboarding infrastructure designed to help payment companies and marketplace operators manage compliance and risk. The company operates from offices in London and New York.

Fintech firm Detected has secured £2m in its latest funding round, drawing backing from existing investors Thomson Reuters Ventures and Love Ventures alongside industry angels. The capital will support the company as it advances product development and executes a growth strategy following a strong trading period in 2023.

Founded to modernise merchant and business onboarding, Detected addresses a multi-billion dollar market dominated by legacy systems. The platform combines workflow modules with third party compliance checks and case management tools to help enterprise clients streamline verification.

Building on recent commercial milestones and industry recognition, the firm intends to use the proceeds to deepen enterprise relationships and scale transaction volumes. The raise underscores continued investor appetite for business software despite broader macroeconomic headwinds across the fintech sector.
