The Series H round was led by Durable Capital Partners and Fidelity Management and Research Company to support ongoing expansion.
Deliveroo is a global online food delivery service connecting consumers with restaurants and grocery partners. The platform operates across multiple international markets supported by a large network of riders.
Deliveroo has secured £132.6m in a Series H funding round backed by existing investors, which values the business at over $7bn. The investment was led by Durable Capital Partners and Fidelity Management and Research Company. The fresh capital will support the company as it prepares for a potential initial public offering while continuing to scale its delivery operations.
The proceeds will be directed towards several key growth areas, including the expansion of its Editions delivery-only kitchens and on-demand grocery services. Deliveroo also plans to scale its Plus subscription offering into new geographies and develop new tech tools and initiatives for partner restaurants and delivery riders.
From the founder
"At Deliveroo we are always focused on developing the best proposition for consumers, riders and restaurants. This investment will help us to continue to innovate, developing new tech tools to support restaurants, to provide riders with more work and to extend choice for customers, bringing them the food they love from more restaurants than ever before.
