Daytrip secures £7.9m Series B funding from Taiwania Capital to scale global operations

Daytrip operates a global travel platform providing private door-to-door car transfers with English-speaking drivers and optional sightseeing stops. The company connects travellers in over 110 countries worldwide.
Daytrip has secured £7.9m in a Series B funding round led by Taiwania Capital, with continued backing from existing investors Euroventures, J&T Ventures, and N1. The newly acquired capital will be deployed to develop the company platform further, scale operations into new territories including the United States, and forge strategic partnerships across the sector.
The business offers private rides with English-speaking drivers alongside customisable sightseeing excursions, having recently experienced a surge in demand. Passenger numbers doubled through 2023 as independent travel trends gained momentum globally.
